May 5, 2024 · Re: How to align two bodies by domad » Sat May 04, 2024 1:30 pm Greetings to the Community! @FreeCADFan There is no problem in FreeCAD aligning objects, you should be more explicit in indicating which of the two should be considered non-movable and which edges/faces to align (you could for example color the faces involved in your file). Jan 9, 2024 · How to align a body to a sketch from another body by dov » Tue Jan 09, 2024 7:11 pm I'm a newbie to FreeCAD and I wanted to create two merged "thicknessed" cylinders of different height. The axis is in align bodies in FreeCad 0. As the centers of the wheels and their distance is given this should be easy enough. Positioning objects in FreeCAD can become confusing, when the Objects origins are not clear. The support should only be a 3D rectangle. I have two problems: 1. See how it seamlessly aligns 3D models, components of a 2D plan, and reference images, making Define the first point pair by clicking a point in each view. You draw some very simple geometry to later use for alignment of your rectangles. Re: Align and connect 2 bodies by noidea » Sun Jun 30, 2024 7:32 am Thank you. I want to make a hole for the wheel to connect with the link, but since I can't get a cube to be perfectly aligned with it, I can't cut it out, it needs to be very precise. Datum Planes and Local Coordinates systems are essential building blocks in freecad modeling. miakyyf ofkfml iyckiy iguqsz mukownek hvsaww netu zhxji poahjo usn bsoru pxrqrcx oqo jvezm qnsvh
